I thought that sound was remarkably better than the last time I saw em there, and most gigs I've seen there really.

supprisingly really enjoyed big business ( hate the vocals on cd) them and melvins were fantastic. could have done without the support though. ( or at least porn could have tried, to play instead of pissing about)

Yeah, in Belfast their set was one part pointless banality to one part needless self-indulgence to one part sheer brilliance - in other words exactly what they set out to do judging by the records. Great stuff.

now i liked flipper, and i understand the flipper thing, but they seemed to put SOO little effort in that it wasnt even horrendous, just pretty dull.
they looked like someone should get them put down.

I thought Porn were good background music, and i liked the 20 second part with that Duck noise thing, lost interest after that.
Thought Flipper were terrible starting off, but 3 songs in and me moving from the back up near the front things got way way better, sound was grand up front for them, really enjoyed it.
Had a lovely burger down the road during Big Business, a bit greasy put overall it delivered a good result, very well played.
Melvins were amazing, until i got a kick up the ass while standing next to the Christmas tree from Eoin bastardo.
Overall great gig!

The Melvins were insanely good. Absolute pefect set list. Cant believe how tight they were. Big Business were really good as well though I'd like to see them play a full set. I dont know why people didnt like Flipper. They were really really good. Though they werent as good last night as they were in Belfast to be honest.

I looked over to see "santa" chewing the face offf Una at one point and was about to knock his fucking teeth in.Thankfully,when I pulled off his hat I saw it was Fernanda..otherwise things could have gotten very messy..

what is the point in that then, why bother at all? I thought they were just plain dull, not bad or awful just plain boring and dull. Still BB/Melvins were fuckin unbelievable - total brilliance, cant freakin wait to get that live experience again at Roadburn. Great to see a lot of familiar faces I havent seen in too long,..hopefully see a lot of ye again v soon!.|..| .|..|

Flipper were actually really good in Galway last night. Did'nt think they would be up to much but i was proven wrong. One of the lads who went to bith Dublin and Galway said they were wwwaaaaaaayyyyyyyy better last night.
