hey

any experience with getting hardware repaired on a
macbook in warranty?..

mactivate and detech(mulhuddart)..

anyone else?..

its gonna take about 2 weeks to fix.. i had it in a place
in limerick last summer and they did a great job but they
cant guarantee they will have it fixed within a day or two..

any ideas?

there is a new mac store in limerick beside todds on o'connell st with 3 floors, one for shop, one for tutorials and one for repairs, its the old compb people me thinks

I used Mactivate last time I needed something fixed. It took about a week because they had to order the part in but their courier service made the entire process so much easier.

Mactivate are rip offs and take ages.

Google "Fix it your self macbook". You should find a savage website full of tutorials on how to fix all range of apple hardware stuff.
