i'd like to go friday night but have to work late, although i'll ask can i get off early. am playing at about 5.30 or 6ish on the saturday so i want to be there relatively early. also have to find a tent for spiritualtramp and myself.

As a local, I can tell you that Geashill is about five miles from Tullamore. Not very practical. There isn't really a campsite near the town I can think of... lots of big empty fields tho...

For anyone who is planning to go down on the Friday, there is a gig in Joe Lee's pub, featuring Boxes, Holy Ghost Fathers and MAYBE Rollers/Sparkers.

think Dip has a tent but like I said poles and stuff
none a that modern stuff,

you being a boyscout leader should be able to make
you and the Mrs a passable shelter for the night.

Or alternatively you can just bask in the glow of
your mutual love.

whats the deal with dip's tent? not a dome i take it? my parents have a tent which they bought when they were living in africa 35 years ago. i set it up a few years ago and promptly put my foot through the roof

hehe. my mum was trying to tell me to use our tent. which is a two man tent, half of which was carried around europe on my grandad's back during world war ii. you have to chop down tree branches for tent poles and all.
