I'd say the graphic designer is at fault here. It looks like they skimmed through the book and either picked out or paraphrased some annoying/thought-provoking phrases and slapped them on the cover.

That a said a lot of people could do with quitting moaning.

What that poster seems to suggest is embracing a shift in how our society works, but there is a real concern about increased food and heating prices affecting the more venerable amongst us. I think there's no harm in continuing to moan on their behalf.
