Flat white.nice one Jill,I never knew there was a name for it,saying a bit of milk always resulted in a latte,or a cold coffee.
Although Ill probably fuck it up and order a great white,and become known as the coffee shark among the barista community

As far as I know:
Latte is more warmed milk than espresso. (1 or 2 shots depending on size and place)
Cappuccino is espresso with foamed milk. (2 to 3 shots depending on size and place)
Flat white is more espresso (2 to 4 shots) than milk and in a smaller cup generally or just one size (no small/large, etc.)

Sol do a 2 shot or 4 shot flat white. It's the only place I've found 4 shots. I don't want my espresso watered down into an Americano with added milk. And I want my coffee to taste like coffee, so flat white is the way to go. Cappuccino, second, if need be minus the chocolate on top.
