Kind of makes you sick to imagine Joanna Newsom, Andy Samberg, PT Anderson and Joaquin Phoenix hanging out in Anderson’s Hollywood mansion all being super talented, rich and attractive together.

It probably was. I think i phrased that badly. I thought ys tour would have cost a fortune. The nixers are more promo than for cash i suppose.

no one buys music anymore though.

That last album was a fairly mammoth production. Triple-CD/LP, impressive packaging etc. It looked like lots of time, money and effort went into it. I doubt it sold very well really.

So I guess it depends on how you'd define 'successful'.
