I don't think the point was what was in the clip or not, and to be fair deep throating banana is a double entdre you'd have to be retarded not to see...

My point is it comes from someone with Janers track record of base crude insults towards women, and is followed up with the sort of responses he dropped it's pretty clear his intentions were to make some people feel uncomfterable for his own ammusment (or kicks if you do thing he's as sick as I think he is)... if the clip was off kittens and butterflys but was preseted as his post was it's still, to my understanding, a sexual post aimed at intimidating women. I've been on thumped for years and I think there are more women contributing on the board now then ever, I think it's a good thing.

I did a search on JANER and women to pull up with I did, beleive me there were pleanty of other comments an remarks that didn't exaclty reflect him as enlightened indiviual

Anyway i just made my point, I didn't ban him, my only regret is I got heavy on the age thing, but I guess I was confusing age with maturity... silly me...

and on one last point at the end of the day this is Petes website, if someone decides to play the psycho on it, and someone got the wrong end of the stick (maybe not even someone who post here, maybe a parent or employer) and felt that what was happen was legally suspicous... as far as I understand from the MCD Borads.ie debacle... Pete could end taking some of the guff for it, or at least possibly sufffer a rake of bad publicity... It's probaby never going to happen, but it's there none the less...

I know Pete would never bring it up himself and has always been incredibly fair in his running of the board, but as a some who cosiders Pete a freind (it's true Pete, sorry) I think people using thumped as playground for some of the uglier aspects of their personality at his risk is pretty wrong considering the ammount of money time and effort he's put into it over the years.

I will pay my sub soon. Promise.

i have seen way more offensive and obnoxious stuff posted on here (even today - even in this very thread! whoop! easy now) than janer's thread (not that i am condoning it), and people dont bad an eyelid.

agreed on pretty much everything you've said on this entire matter. with regard to the age thang - it's a natural response to attack him about it because it's difficult to compute his behaviour as that of a person in their 40s. 90% of the time he comes off like some jerk teenager with an ego centric view of women.
