Jamie's American Revolution (or what ever it's called) (1 Viewer)

I saw it on Hulu a couple of months ago.
Interesting stuff - raised a lot of debate on US websites at the time.

In fact one of the guy featured on the programme was posting on The Atlantic website a bit - defending the town.

Marion Nestle who wrote Food Politics has a good blog which is reported on the Atlantic - I think her take on the programmes was pretty good. But there was a surprising amount of "why is this brit telling us what to do".

There was a bit in one of the later programmes where the food inspector woman refers to "the white milk" which nearly made me cry laughing or lagh crying. As if it was the most natural thing in the world for a cow to squirt the strawberry or chocolate kind.

I was in Toronto for the weekend, my nephew (well first cousin once removed technically) was telling me at scholl they do 50 (yes fucking fifty!) sit ups and push up every morning. Goes to show because he is freakishly strong.
