Some Latvian lad was murdered behind my house last night. A 27-year-old was stabbed. A few weeks back an Estonian guy was beaten to death in a lay-by between Swords and the airport. There was the Baiba Saulite's murder late last year and I think a few others of late. Crazy.

My old work colleague told me there's loads of gang rumbles in Swords due to the heady mix of Ballymun, Finglas, River Valley and Swords types. I don't know if that's true or not but I was in Wrights for a mates birthday a few months ago and there was a lot of bad vibes and dodgy characters hanging around Main Street at 03.00 just waiting for something to kick off.
