Glad I pointed this out now, what a lovely lady. If she had a problem with photos being taken (stealing her soul ) then she shouldn't allow photos to be taken. She obviously doesn't or she wouldn't have used the photo in the first place.

Could you throw some text up right in the centre of the photo with your link and/or name on it?
Send it to them, say "I took this, hope you like it".
If they wanna use it, they can get back to you for an unmolested version.
In return for a credit.
