This concept of using a single number to define intelligence, as if it were a one dimensional quantity, is funny though. There's loads of dimensions to intelligence for want of a better word.
I don't really agree. We really do think of one another as "smart" or "dense", or somewhere in between, and it's distinct from having specific skills. Being smart doesn't make you a better person, it just makes you potentially useful for certain things

Would this be hip hop or punk that is superficially extremely attuned to discrimination while still being clownishly misogynistic?
Mostly punk, HC, grindcore etc. A small bit of hip hop.
Grindcore is weird in that racism is very rare due to international nature of the scene. BUT... Sexism, homophobia, porn (and of course gore) are bullets you have to dodge - and I have tolerated at times. Not much of a problem avoiding this crap now.
Some of best grind records I have come from places like Medellin, Bolivia, Peru, Malaysia, Mexico...
The US bands and some Europeans are the problem.

But living in Medellin in 1980's and 90's was brutal compared anything Olympia riot girls had to face.

Old HC punk stuff is generally very solid lyrically but it is the stuff that gets left out on the older records - too much white guy viewpoints and some big oversights on many minority issues (just not addressed much) and a lack of self criticism etc.
But it was a long time ago and the world was less diverse.
Conflict LP with woman doing vocals but no mention of women's issues seems strange now.

I was listening to some Immortal Technique - one of my favourite rappers from 2000's. Some stuff on white privilege, race relations, institutional racism and class etc he absolutely nails 100% but he also winds up some of critics on other stuff which is not so positive.

About Me:
My big problem is that I have no real acquired skills -
Can only speak one language, can't drive, hopeless at typing, not able to play instruments, hopeless computer skills. So that's where I fall down.
Other than that I feel confident talking to anyone. If I can't do something I just say it.

I think you have this on its head.

Its not about what you know, its about what you can make people think you know.

the world is full of dopes. Don't be giving them more credit than they deserve. You're probably worth 10 of most pricks out there.

I like immortal technique but as with a lot of hip hop the message is seriously undermined by his cuntish attitude to gays/women. It's hard to believe someone is righteous when they're enthusiastically shitting on the people it's safe for them to hate.

100% that is my impression of Cornel aka IT. Probably didn't notice that as much 15 years ago.

This also ruins most/all black male comedians for me. Wow you're so righteous, oh wait no you're just another cunt. Railing against racism and revelling in sexism with zero self awareness.
