I'm starting to like the Horrors. When the I first hear them I thought they were just the worst type of hipster hair cut band. Probably a justified opinion. Total style over substance, but that's okay.
Oh to be young and pretentious.
I gave it a shot but it sounded to me like a duller version of Primary Colours. It certainly wasn't bad but I'd already had enough of that kind of thing from them. Sea Within in a Sea though, what a tune:Skying is the one I like
Yeah, no one likes that album except me though. The band pretty much refuse to acknowledge its existence as far as I can tell.Didn't these guys have a raucous garagey sound at one time?

that was Primary ColoursI liked their second album, whichever one that way
Just skipped through the album and as a passing fan of 60s psychedilic rock it ticks the boxes
But it's odd seeing this sort of thing being treated as contemporary music. I have no beef with it apart from that.
Nicky Wire of Manic Street Preachers – one of the last truly working-class bands to break through – said it best: ‘Music shouldn’t be a gap year.’ Right now, that’s precisely what it’s become.
