its really sweet. theres some bite and crunch off it. its a JCM 800 in a box.

the e2's ok, its suffers from what all looper pedals do - lack of headroom. i mostly use it for the tape echo which sounds great.
imho the feedbacker is weak clean (esp the distortion) but if you process the 'feedback' you can get some really nice results.

youll have to explain that for me.

if its last in your chain (which the loopers 'usually' are) and youve loaded the signal with gain/distortion/etc the e2 cant handle the levels, so what comes out of it sounds shit.
putting it earlier in the chainis most of the time not a workable solution as youll be applying your fx chain to all loops. so then its getting into signal splitters & all that which is too complicated for me...

yeah i like rats but when i tried an original rat recently i was surprised how much better they were than the reissues. i really like this pedal. just feels really solid or something. its been AGES since ive played a nice distortion pedal.
still prefer an original mxr distortion + though...
