Just had one of these walk into my life too.
Awesome..if your used to a DS1 you will hear the difference.Way more controllable.
If I put my put my signal boost before it turns into an insane fuzz pedal.
If your amp is really dirty when pushed it might be overkill though..
Mines pretty clean even with the master cranked so it sounds awesome.

Got a Expandora fuzz to try out for a while too but unfortunatley the opposite applies.Doesnt sound great if your amp is clean.I'd love to try it with a plexi or 900 or something though.

the sd1 keeley mod is supposed to be deadly.Nothing but good reviews.

How much did you get charged to mod your own pedals if you dont mind me asking?

the pair of them modded + postage came in at around €140. it was quick too. 2 week turnaround.

What about bass pedals? Have the Fulltone Bass Driver, but am looking for something completely vicious. Like the Zvex fuzz factory for bass. The Scrotum mangler thing in the NAMM thread looks interesting, or the Anal Probe.

I use a Dimarzio very metal pedal which is basically a guitar fuzz pedal. I'd like one of the Boss Bass Overdrives though.

Im amazed you dont have one too so .

The one i have is an early Keeley mod and doesnt have the extra led toggle.

had a rock with both new pedals last night. the sd-1 is thicker sounding but more transparent. very controllable and eh, notey(???). the tr-2 is really amazing though. louder, more bass and no tone suckage. well worth the money i say.
