It's hardly a single malt. Is there a third type of whiskey?I think the thing with Paddy is that it's not a blended whiskey like jameson etc so it's a lot sharper.

Thank you. Wasn't really sure of the mathematics of it, I just heard a few other people say it.edit: as wobbler says, water softens the flavour- you can taste it more without yer buds being burned.
