NEIL YOUNG IS PLAYING VICAR ST IN MAY!!!
TICKETS ARE 105 BIG ONES, FULLY SEATED AND GO ON SALE THIS MONDAY MORNING!!!

it's worth not pating rent for one week i wager

Fuuuuck
Even if you have the money, your chances of getting a ticket are probably pretty damn slim - I don't know anyone who managed to get a ticket for Dylan last time

(currently ready 'Shakey' too - twould be funny if he just got locked and played "Tonight's the Night" for 37 minutes, like he used to in the mid-70s ... funny unless I had spent €100 on a ticket, in which case I would feel entitled to assault the cunt)

Fuck Ireland! Thats so pricey. I was told by a mate that he got a ticket for Sir Paul Mc Cartneys Belgian dates for 35euro! I paid 75euro for standing! GEEEEEEEE!! I will implode!!

Re: Re: Holy Shit

In fairness to him, the title "Sir", when deployed in Ireland, has fairly strong historical ties with exploitation.

You'll notice that when Phil Collins plays India, the posters announce him as "Sahib Phil Collins".

I don't care what he wants to be called as long as he doesn't play the Frog chorus. I'm lookin forward to hearin him do classics like Lady Madonna. Fuckin amazing!

Is this the most expensive gig ever in Dublin?

That italian opera geezer Andrea Bocelli was €107 + fees I think

In his defence I think he did have an orchestra with him, and was appearing at a venue with slightly higher overheads than vicar street...

currently reading shakey, what a book

it is very deadly

although some of the funniest stuff, on re reading it, is Stephen Stills going mad. Wearing full military uniform around back stage, signing himself as Lt S Stills, yabbing on about being a military man back in 'Nam etc, etc, etc

while in reality he was actually in Buffalo Springfield during the war
writing the protest tune for What its Worth

Stills is a pure quality nut job
