Yeah, it's good alright...and I don't even like hawkwind, but an interesting story is an interesting story.

Since then I've checked out plenty of Hawkwind. Bought 5 or 6 albums cheaply on CD.
I like the cosmic vibes, strange noises, spoken word bits & the hippy stoner atmos.
I don't think they will be winning any song writing awards. You just put it on and let it play

Damnation Alley is still one of the best songs I've ever heard.
