Have a look at my blog (1 Viewer)

Thanks Carbide! Part of the reason for starting Homebug was because so often when I see something I like on a blog it's like trying to get blood from a stone finding out WHERE or HOW one might go about acquiring the lovely stuff if you don't live in the same town/state/continent as the blogger. That, and my frustration with Irish magazines forever featuring stuff which IS magically unavailable in Ireland- gahhh!

yep yep. you know, i wonder whether the magazines will actually change this approach in light of beaut.ie's success* and your own promising start - i think everyone's used to special offers ending with "not available in ROI" or not getting price/stockist information, and yet publications staffed by plenty of irish people who know this stuff do it themselves. rambling now, but.

also, love the etsy buzz. there are a lot of ridiculously talented people out there.

* not to downplay the role of good content, constant updates and entertaining writing.

That's only deadly Zee. Did you set the blog up specifically to show me all the things I cant afford and didn't know I wanted until I saw your blog?
Today's first post is specifically dedicated to showing you something you can't afford and didn't know you wanted. Seriously! http://www.homebug.net

how's the blog going? i actually thought of it the other day - passed this amazing kooky shop down the road from my house stuffed with heaps of amazing quirky furniture - might take a pic for you to drool over :)

It's going really well! Tons of positive response to it! And I'm really enjoying waffling away on it about stuff that bores most people in my life to tears. And oh do please take a picture for me!

There's a monkey! Doesn't appear to have a maker's mark, but looks like the real thing. Bidding is only at €17. Get onto my watched items list, you little divil!

Just remembered this cool monkey

For Sale - beautiful pink "vagina couch" that I made in art school and no longer have space for. The couch is large: measures 5' 3" long, 3' 3" wide at the middle, and stands 2' 3" tall (and is heavy like a couch). The pics are from my portfolio and are several years old; as a result, the couch has some scuffmarks and stains around the bottom from being moved, but otherwise is in excellent shape. A professional upholsterer helped me build the couch, so it is also functional and durable as a piece of furniture. The couch must be picked up in Mendocino, a 3-hour drive north of SF. I am asking for $600 and a loving home! Call Willow at [deleted] or reply to posting.
