Not looking good for the next few games...playing a much better team in their ground in the Cup (resigned to a loss so I mightn't even bother fielding my first team)...then playing the winner of my league last season...and to top it all off I'm in mad debt so I won't be strengthening the squad for a fews weeks.

Anyone know how often you can pluck some decent youngsters from your youth training...every month? every 3 months? I've been consistently paying the max 20,000 a week.

If you leave it longer will the player you get be better, or is it just pot luck?

yip - you can get one a week at a cost of €2000, they don't get better the longer you leave it but the strength of your youth squad increases to a maximum of 'excellent' the longer you keep paying 20,000 a week, so that although still random you get more goodies than crappies. Mine went to excellent a few weeks back so that was close to 50 weeks of paying €20,000 (that'd be a million - sorta makes sense).

jaysis, i've only challenged you every week for the last 2 months
and now that my league season is over again... two poxy 3-2 defeats in a row to the leaders. pox on pox.

I have relinquished control of Sparta Stalk, due to a cheating scandal. Its a shame the way I've been treated at the club after months of service, taking a bunch of no-hopers and moulding them into title contenteders.

Ah well, I hope to secure a new post soon, and bring a pack of minnows up from the doledrums.
