"I got so tired of concluding, That there's nothing for us to conclude"

Good God

In The Middle Of Nowhere by Modern Talking is such ridiculous nonsense it's hard not to be cheered up by it. Could make for a fun album club...

Hearing daft punk split had me thinking of the record Thomas Bangalter did, Stardust - music sounds better with you. I always liked those type of songs from the late 90s, early 2000's. Modjo, lady (hear me tonight) Len - steal my sunshine ect... They were usually built around a loop from a disco record, had high pass filtering and a catchy vocal.

God I really hated those two at the time, they still make me feel like i'm stuck in 5th year in secondary school and there's no end or escape in sight. Love at First Sight by Kylie Minogue was the formal pop version of them wasn't it?

I like the Kylie one as well. Stardust was 1998, Kylie 2001.

yeah that's what I mean, the songwriters heard the latest gimmick and said "we're having a bit of that for our next big pop album." Always happens, no bad thing! Contact by the Pointer Sisters is a great example of that, pure "we have heard Thriller and 1999 and here is our new album based on them"

Not exactly a feminist anthem ...
