My google account is constantly redirecting to google.com.mx and changing my languge to spanish which is a bit of a pain in the hole.

The setup I see when I do this is a bit different to the one the EFF show on the screenshots but with a bit of clicking in settings I get to the same page eventually.

It doesn't work at all for my google apps account.

I find the whole google environment confusing - I suspect because it's been added to bit by bit. But I also think there is an element of deliberate obfuscation where they are hoping you share more than you think you are because navigating around their various products is a pain in the hole.
