Freedom by Jonathan Franzen is now appearing in my sponsored ads.

I was gonna blame thumped for this since I thought this was the only place I talked about how shit it was. But then I remembered I looked at some reviews of it on amazon.

I was in Toronto recently and had no cell service. Went to a lot of sold out movies, which involved a lot of queuing and a lot of waiting for movies to start. So far, not so bad. Grand cake.
Got bored a few times and realised I didn't have the Kindle reader on my new phone. Turns out I had some other kind of free one on there and it had a free book - White Fang, much better than I remember.

Anyway.... Every time I got into a wifi zone and checked email and whatnot, nothing but ads for the Kindle Reader app. Google was ratting me out to Amazon that I was using a bogie reader.
I shouldn't be surprised. But I was a little.
It's not your behaviour online, but every little thing you do with your phone, even if it's off the goddamn grid.

(btw Freedom by Jonathan Franzen is a bit shit. Love triangles - who gives a fuck anymore? Says nothing to me about my life (incidentally the person who lent it to me loved it, and is the only person I know who was involved in a love triangle in real life))
