The form that he's in at the minute I'm not sure that he'd get into the side which is a pretty damning thing to say considering what our options there are (the lad we nicked off of Scotland aside).

I heard Moyesy is interested now that Stephen Pienaar is definitely off to greener pastures (or warming the bench at Chelsea). I am not a happy man.

On the other hand Moyes has a habit of making players work hard, a few months of whip cracking and Dicky could look like a player again, before the inevitable Everton knee syndrome kicks in weeks before the inevitable play off defeat to a much larger nation who made a bollox of their qualifying campaign.

The one season when he looked like the new Liam Brady for about 6 months was when he was allowed a free-roaming advanced playmaker sort of role and had 2 Brazilian forwards (Elano and Robinho) to link up with.. The problem as I see it is that most British teams don't have space for this type of player (including Man City since Mancini came in) and he apparently can't or won't do the basic water carrier grafting stuff that Premier League sides demand of a centre midfielder, which is why he's been squeezed out of the Villa side already.
