such a fruitful and informative godspeed post. Keep it up

Can't say I didn't try.

Does anyone know what way Humanitat operate when booking gigs? Do they put 'MCD' on their faxes to booking agencies or just Humanitat? Not that many bands would know who MCD were anyway.

I also remember reading in somewhere like The Wire a good bit after their TBMC gig that they were committed to developing alternative networks of distribution and promotion (think it might have been raised here also).

Bit disappointing this time considering their remarks last time.

regards

jaysus. who gives a fuck about godfuckingspeed.
pity there wasn't any speed in the "songs" cos then they'd be over quicker.
if you rims are all upset get a cd of slowdive and put it on contineous play and hey presto - you have GYBE.

YOU`VE ACTUALLY DONE THAT??!!
PLAYED SLOWDIVE ON REPEAT!!!!!

BET YOU LISTEN TO ALOT OF SHIT MUSIC ON REPEAT ANYWAYS.

SAW GODSPEED TWO YEARS AGO FOR AROUND 8 TO 9 QUID, WHATS THIS £22 ABOUT???
LAST TIME THE DOOR GUY WOULD`NT EVEN LEAVE US WITH THE SECOND HALF OF THE TICKET STUB! THAT SUCKED.

Methinks it's not £22 but 20-22 Euros, which is about £346,825.
Its a pity the corpos are doing it, too much for the band to seek out some other willing kiids p'raps.

i still think it's a promoter-to-promoter fuckup. i'm willing to give gybe! the benefit of the doubt for the moment. last time there was a lot of people jumping to conclusions, which never really does anyone any good.

progress to date:

"constellation has no say in determining any of the tour details for any of the bands. that being said, we share your disappointment on this booking (again). all we can do is promise to bring this to the attention of the band.
kind regards,
don & ian"
