i was actually thinking, if about four of us went on, made a few initial comments, then started recommending race war and things, being completely hardcore fruitcake with them, it'd probably split them into factions in about a week.

There was a brilliant wind-up on the forum of http://www.cookdandbombd.co.uk doing exactly this about 2 years ago. I caught a couple of the entries, it was really cool. They did shit like enter poetry, except the poetry was all in acrostics, so the first letter of each line would spell out phrases like "YOU ARE ALL FUCKING MORONS". It lasted for ages, and got them seriously riled, with hilarious consequences. They were discovered, but it took a while. They were very careful.
First: They didn't all click on the link provided in Cook'd and Bomb'd, so they couldn't all be traced back to the same place, and thereby be rumbled.
Second: They organised a system for registering, so there wasn't a big chunk of suspicious people joining at the same time.

It worked very well, it's worth searching for it on the forum, you can catch a bit of the excitement they obviously took in doing it.
