they played 2 new songs at their last gig here, the DEAF closing party, can't remember if one of them was Surf Solar but i do remember them sounding really promising

YouTube - Vitalic - Poney Part 1

Ah, one of my favourite tunes. I haven't heard any of his new stuff but the most recent liveset i heard was quite dull. He was fantastic the first time i saw him - La Rock 01 was mindblowingly good. I don't think Fuck Buttons are anything like him though - they've a much warmer almost DIY sound about them.

Nah - just that track and the Euro style synth chords really remind me of him.
Yeah La Rock 1 still gives me shivers - gives me flashbacks to Sonar 2002
His new album is supposed to be incredible by all accounts. Due out pretty soon.

I think the problem is they're billed as a noise band when they're not really.

I'm not big into noise so I like them. I just like the sell out noise stuff with a tune, you know, like Boys of Summer.

Immensely looking forward to this album.
Surf Solar is sounding pretty deadly. Was looking there for a youtube video with decent audio of another new'un. Seems to have been deleted.
