I reckon they were 10 times better than Tragedy the first time they were in Dublin. Yeah, Concrete & Steel and Silence were both amazing. I don't think anyone had done it like they did when those albums cam out, sure they had influences from various Eastern European bands in addition to HHIG and the like, but nothing before or since had such vicious force to it.
I was really disappointed with Nightmares when it came out too but when I went back to it I got really into it. Still a brilliant album, but somehow feels unfinished compared to the other two. Strange since I think both of those were actually shorter than it, but it may be because those albums sounded almost like one long song linked with tempo and atmosphere changes...pretty much like Monuments To Thieves, which is probably the best punk album of all time.
