as far as the lack of black artists on this thread goes... sadly you can't
rewrite history - 90's rockers were rarely black. sad but true.
MERCURY REV - Chasing A Bee (1991)
fave video of my friends at the time. but i feel sorry for the chimp.
a video off their second LP from 1993 has Ron Jeremy in it...
Ween - Push Th' Little Daisies (1993)
the guy who sings this looks wrecked now. especially compared to the other guy.
SUPERCHUNK - Precision Auto (1992)
'CHUNK pay tribute to their home town Chapel Hill, NC.
BOYE - Ne Igram Uz Ratim Taj (1990 ?)
80's/90's Serb band who played post punk originally but became
more indie rock by end of 80's.
everything i've heard by them up until early 90's is cool.
i gave up on 90's indie rock in 1993 and much prefer post punk era now.
can hardly think of any bands that i liked after 1993 famous enough to make a video...
also i didn't watch TV at all in the mid 1990's.
SLAYER - Seasons In The Abyss (1990)
best metal video ever IMO along with Balls to The Wall (ACCEPT).
