i want to throw up a simple, shitty webpage like geocities used to let you do, is there anywhere i can just get a free url and lash up a bit of half-arsed html without it trying to impose crappy templates and user-friendly boxes and buttons and forms and things on me? it's 8 years since i last did any webpaging and i'm finding things a bit aggravating out there/here

yeah that was the first one i came across, it had all boxes and arty pictures of random stuff...

i should probably spend a little time figuring it out for myself instead of deciding at 3 in the morning before a 9 o'clock meeting that it would be a good idea to put all my work together as a webpage....
