A lot of talk about Jim O'rourke.
I'm confused,is he the same guy that collaborated with Fennesz and Pita on "The return of Fenn'O'Berg"?

Is he a laptop jockey,as well as an indie hero?

I don't know about Geogaddi either,it is good,but not as good as "music has the right".

Finally,am i the only one who thinks Interpol are way overrated?

I'm starting to think that too. I loved the album for about two weeks then began skipping more and more songs... there are
only 4 or 5 left that I'd listen to now. There's something very

I had a feeling the purists (or just fans) might be onto me for that. Ah no, I'm not really having a dig at all. Don't mind Joy Division meself. I heard from someone who works on a radio station that the one band you cannot fade out or cut off is Joy Division. They said that the phones instantly start ringing with complaints from Joy Division fans. Mad hah?

The Hieneken ad thing was very strange. At first I thought I was going to cry. But then my sister, who's wee-er than I, says, oh that's that band you like, nad borrowed some cds from me. I suspect she just listened to Love Will Tear Us Apart over and over, but hey, it goes a little way to educating the masses. Perhaps.

yeah its all the same Jim, he does his indie, and improv and folkly blues stuff and electronica and produces every second album released in the world today. Or maybe it just feels like that.
