The type of 'buzz' im after is the cultural aspect but also very much so the social aspect of it, whats goin on in places, which is why barcelona and copenhagen are definites.

Go to that Gaudi park place in Barcelona, it´s rapeh. Bring cans though, gaudi loves cans.

If your going from Athens to Belgrade you should stop off in Skopje/Macedonia.Not that i've been there, but would'nt miss it if i was passing through the region.
You should spend 2 days anyway in some cities(Belgrade/Prague/Paris would'nt do you much good in one day).Sounds like a whirlwind trip!.|..|

just back from Rome meself. it sucked balls. got ripped off at every available opportunity. Italians, generally, were rude, unhelpful and arrogant.
Couldn't find any record shops, or any evidence of DIY gigs or any DIY scene full stop. But then again I was mainly in the city centre so perhaps what I needed to do was get out into the burbs.
The football related riots were good craic though!

I would much rather have been home... in Cavan
