how much of the insert do you need done? When the Kabinboy did the first 7" we had the name embossed on the cover. It was pretty small. There was a place in belfast did rubber stamps etc and they sold these things like staple guns,you could put a fitting in it that had the words you wanted embossed and then it was just like stapling the words on the card. I don't remember it being an outrageous price.
might be worth looking into if that's the kind of thing you want done.

Around an inch and a half of in lenght i think.
Just throwing ideas around at the moment, but would`nt mind getting an insert done, something different/nice.
I`ll check the printers then, see what unorthodox ideas they may be able to offer.

Incidently - i have an image - and i want to take the text/logo from this image and use it seperately.
What thingy/function do i use in photoshop for this!?
Tis wrecking my head!And i need to send it to someone this week(the logo/image).

Quick guide...

Use magic wand tool and select within the area...adjust your tolerance setting till it selects the area you want. If it's colour, either desaturate the image or convert it to grayscale t make this easier. Then copy and paste in a new layer. Put a white matte layer behind it and delete original image. Make adjustments / clean up and "apply image" or flatten when done. Using threshold controls and "stamp" filter can clean up rough edges.

Got it sorted, emailed the image to the guy and he did it himself in a jiffy.
