Thank fuck I decided to not drink today and drive home. During Fever Ray the heavens opened and the conditions are getting pretty manky down there.

Fever Ray and LCD Soudsystem were amazing. Rednecks, Steve Mason and The Horrors were great too.

Also seeing Neil Hamburger in his civvies was plain weird.

Steve Mason did a great job. Really liking that record.
Janelle Monae nailed it also.
Marc Almond had great fun.
Pity about Tallest man cancelling.

Just another brilliant weekend down there.
Thank fuck the weather held too.

Having no cider available in the Arena is kind of bullshit.

Amazed my tent held up but smelling of wet runners & jeans in the morning is vomit inducing.
LCD and Wolf Parade are my highlights.
I would have been less drunk had there been cider. There SHOULD have been cider.

Robyn was better than everyone else put together.

but aside from that:

The best Wolf Parade concert I've seen since Whelans although that might have been because I was in bits. LCD Soundsystem were awesome. Janelle Monae was excellent (twice) although her band seemed about 2% live. I enjoyed the Gospel Choir greatly.

The hall of mirrors disco was lovely, they played Dancing on the Ceiling and sold liquor heavy cocktails. In fact, it was just after that that I ran into Kid Lovebeach and Unicron so I apologise to them for the high society drunk persona that had taken over...... and for pointing out that I was walking the wrong direction completely.

All I know is people knew before me but didn't have the decency to tell me.

h8 them

Oh please, I was drunk, I was hardly gonna be reading.

yes, ok, I am an idiot.

I think I only really enjoyed Wolf Parade, in a serious "I'm having a great time at this gig" way.
However, I attended less gigs that I intended to. Good fun all the same.

Trying to remember now:

Stornoway -

Crystal Swing and a little Rubber bandits - Drunken fun

Adrian Crowley - Lovely

Redneck Manifesto - Rocking

The Mighty Stef - Rocking

The Fall - Rocking, with added "what a prick"

VENGEANCE AND THE PANTHER QUEEN

Mountain Man - Beautiful, hang over nursing stuff

Land Lovers - Rocking

BAD LIEUTENANT (love will tear us apart) - ugh

Steve Earle - Lovely

Foals - too "epic"

Fever Ray - Enjoyed it

Beardyman - fucking brilliant

Janelle Monae (main stage) - bollix

Roxy Music - good

LCD Soundsystem - great

Modest Mouse - good
