Just check the sellers profile and it will show you how many items he has sold and the buyers will leave feedback about him. If they say he's good he's probably good.

how long does delivery take usually? like, from the states?

i've only ever ordered from the uk.
took about a week.

but i'm currently waiting on something from the states which i ordered on 25th november.
will keep you posted.

Getting stuff from the states can take a fair old while, especially cuz i don't have a credit card, so i have to rely on the lovely postal system to get payment out there, i've got something on it's way over, i'm not expecting it for a while. From the uk stuuf should only take a week, last thing i got - sent payment on a tuesday, was in the uk on the thursday, was here on the monday after. Never had any probs with ebay, except the prick who's auction i won, but wouldn't return my e-mails asking for a shipping price. Got the record cheaper about 6 months later so i was happy.

I started buying stuff there this year - records, cds, dvds and videos.

No problems. The Germans are the best to deal with. try ebay.de
Paypal is easiest way to pay.
after that just post cash and register it.

sending bank drafts is ok for UK and the USA but the Europeans insist on waiting for them to "clear" - which is ludicrous seeing as they are already paid for.
