Here, can we put up recipes for food that's quick and easy to make? And maybe even healthy?

Cucumber and Dill Salad:
I made these on Saturday. They were so easy, it was sick.

I don't even like cucumbers very much, but this was brilliant. I used Vidalia onions instead of red ones.

Avocado and Lime Salad:

And this one, which sounds obnoxiously simple, but is, in reality, obnoxiously tasty. Both things were oil-free, which was good, since I shoved a giant brownie down my neck for dessert, and washed it down with Tiramisu and Jersey Cream:

i'm eating ALOT of tomato and cucumber salad at the moment. Russian vibes.

Chop the tomato into large chunks and the (peeled) cucumber into 'bitesized' quarters. Add some fresh homemade balsamic dressing.

whapow.

and Warm Garlic Potato Salad with Walnuts.

jeeesus.

Proper oven chips:

Ingredients: spuds (roosters or golden wonders are especially nice)

Cut spuds into chips.
Dry them with kitchen paper or a clean tea towel (VERY IMPORTANT)
Put the chips onto a baking tray, and pour over some olive oil and mix around a bit
(if you're feeling adventurous, throw in 2 peeled garlic cloves and a sprig of rosemary)
Pop in the oven at a high temperature for 20 mins

Hey presto! Chips!

Proper salad dressing:

Ingredients:
olive oil
balsamic vinegar
wholegrain mustard

Pour some olive oil into a cup. Pour in some balsamic vinegar (about 1/3 as much vinegar as oil). Put in some mustard to taste (around 1/2 teaspoon will probably do ya). Mix up with a fork

I can't understand why anyone buys salad dressing, it's easier, quicker and tastier to make it yourself

Bell pepper is just a regular pepper, and cilantro is fresh coriander. Sorry 'bout that. That salad is amazing, by the way. It looks like it would taste crap and boring, but it's delicious.

it reads deliciously. i'm gonna try and scrape those ingredients together.

glad to not see no 'outside pavalova' or 'arsepit broth' style dishes here.;)

Vanilla ice cream
bannoffee sauce
1 classic bar
1 gold bar

mash it all up in a bowl and eat.
yummers!
and super healthy.

Best bar of all time: (new thread maybe?)

Buy steak in butcher's.

Discuss weather with butcher: "Ah yeah, who knows, we might actually get a summer this year".

Put steak on pan.

Eat.

Alternative method:

"Cut off his horns, wipe his arse and roll him in."

Ahh Ya just reminded me that there's a steak in the freezer!!!!! Sweeeeeeeeeet .|..|

Edit: Steaks are healthy, right?

I do too. I have a thingy for making it what has all the measurements on the side, and recipes for different ones. Current fave is balsamic vinegar, olive oil, chilli flakes, salt and pepper and some dried oregano and basi. Yum yum yum.
