BEATYARD have announced GROOVE ARMADA and CHVRCHES as their headliners for this year’s festival which takes place over the August Bank Holiday Weekend at Dun Laoghaire Harbour.

Scandinavian superstar Todd Terje and legendary DJ Grandmaster Flash join headliners Groove Armada live on Saturday 3 August 2019 with killer live outfit Jungle and globe-spanning favourite Marc Rebillet taking to the stage on Sunday 4 August alongside headliners CHVRCHES, with many more acts to be announced soon.

Tickets are on sale NOW from www.the-beatyard.com with Adult Day Tickets priced €59, Adult 2 Day Weekend Tickets priced €99. Kids from age 2 - 15 just €5. Babies 0-2 Go Free. All ticket prices are plus booking fee.
Saturday headliners Groove Armada will take to the Beatyard Main Stage on August 3rd 2019 for their first full live band show in Ireland in over a decade. One of the planet's best loved and biggest selling dance acts, Groove Armada's long awaited return to the live stage is part of their 21st Anniversary celebrations. Over nearly two decades, Groove Armada have racked up millions of album sales and performed sold out shows worldwide headlining their own tours and festivals including the likes of WHP, Cream, ANTS and Wildlife Ibiza. With a catalogue of floor filling hits from Superstylin', I See You Baby, Get Down to If Everybody Looked The Same this performance is not to be missed.

Joining headliners Groove Armada on the 3 August, Todd Terje and Grandmaster Flash are sure to get the party started and keep it going into the night. Todd Terje arrived on the Scandinavian dance scene in 2004 and, in short order, became one of its most prominent figures. Terje channels his voracious appetite for several styles of music - including dub, disco, synth pop, house, and techno - into his edits and remixes of tracks by the likes of the Bee Gees, Michael Jackson, and Santana and huge club hits such as "Inspector Norse" and "Snooze 4 Love". Emerging from the South Bronx in the early 1970s, Grandmaster Flash is inarguably one of Hip Hop’s original innovators. Today, Grandmaster Flash is the voice of an entire generation of 1970s hip hop pioneers and his live show is a celebration of Hip Hop’s most formative decade.

CHVRCHES are set to headline Beatyard Festival on Sunday 4th August following rave reactions to their outstanding sold out Irish shows last month. Their new critically acclaimed album 'Love Is Dead’ is the band’s third successive top 10 UK album and follows their debut 'The Bones of What You Believe' in 2013 and 'Every Open Eye' in 2015. The Glaswegian band have played countless shows worldwide, with each tour's production reaching new heights and leaping them towards the top of festival bills - their headline spot at Beatyard is a must see.

Jungle and Marc Rebillet will also take to the Beatyard Main Stage along with headliners CHVRCHES on Sunday 4 August. In July 2014, Jungle released their self-titled debut album - cue online word-of-mouth and IRL buzz, rave reviews, a Mercury Music Prize nomination, songs of the summer (two summers, even), viral videos, half a million sales, burgeoning DJ careers and a global tour that lasted two solid years. The whole thing was dreamed up by Josh “J” Lloyd-Watson and Tom “T” McFarland, a production and multi-instrumentalist duo who never expected to leave their bedroom studios, far less become the core of a talent-filled seven-strong collective. Known for his incredible live one man shows, it is easy to see why the artist, actor, musician, composer, humorist and philosopher Marc Rebillet achieved huge levels of internet fame. Having captivated audiences around the world with his musical and lyrical talent, his show is sure to keep you laughing and dancing all night long - his show is not to be missed!
