Avalon House on Angier Street looks like a bit of a buzz.

(memory shot of a drunken Aoife standing in the rain, looking forlornly and hopefully in at some australian types playing draughts, too tired to walk home)

Its crazy expensive - extortion!!!(well we were charged 35/40euro)
One of the worst value for money i ever had on my past tours of Dublin`s hostel scene.

My favourite:
www.kinlayhouse.ie
Kinlay House Dublin
2-12 Lord Edward St
Dublin 2

Barnacles, Temple Bar
http://www.barnacles.ie/templebar/accommodation.htm

Both range fom 14Euro to 20 euro. They`re clean too.
