Plasmid EP 7"
DSC00782.jpg

80's UK Fast Raw hardcore punk, this is some very fast angry raw punk played with aggression that is carried through into the lyrics which are very strong political and personal dealing. Its got alot of artwork you would expect more from the peace punk scene but has just a bit of the raw edge which you find in the music. Think AntiSect, mixed with early Finnish 80's hardcore.

Totälickers/Holocaust In Your Head - split 7"

Totälickers deliver 4 tracks of raw and fast Spanish d-beat hardcore with hints of Scandinavian and US crustcore thrown in - mixing old and new influences. A sharp and intense sound delivered with determination.
From the get-go Holocaust in Your Head, Spain, unleash a powerful symbiosis of crusty and thrashy hardcore with a handful of rocking riffs thrown in. It's more thrash than crust actually, but the band definitely possess a quality of rawness and dark heaviness. 5 tracks.

HWR-26_Slang_Cover_web.jpg

Intense Hardcore from Sapporo, Japan. SLANG combines the Manic energy of the best of Japanese Hardcore, a hint of the tough edge of Early East Coast Hardcore, blasting D-beat and crushing metallic riffs. Their Fifth Album since 1988, "LIFE MADE ME HARDCORE" is a crushing follow up to their 2008 LP " The Immortal Sin" that was released on Canada's Schizophrenic Records. Twelve tracks with absolutely searing riffs and highlighting Vocalist KO's harsh gutteral vocal attack.

THE NOW-DENIAL - Fuck Your Boredom 7"
the.now-denial-fuck.your.boredom.silber.jpg

After a decade of destructive existence THE NOW-DENIAL sadly decided to break up. This legacy of a record documents the last three songs ever recorded. One is "Fuck Your Boredom" which might be familiar from their video shot in 2009. Side B contains of the bestial, hard rockin' "Field Kitchen" followed by an unrelenting heavy interpretation of a pretty influential unit from North Eastern U.S.A.

Kuru - Breed 7"
blog.jpg

Kuru were a crust band from England and Breed is probably their only release.
They were formed in 1993 and disbanded a few years latter. Breed was released by Inflamable Records in 1994 and if you are lucky maybe you ll find a copy still floating around in a distro. I didn't know anything about these guys and when i first saw a band named Kuru i thought it is a hardcore or crushing crust band from Japan (they reminded me of Kuro from Japan) but i was wrong: Kuru come from London, UK and played metallic crust coming straight out from the'80's, deeply influenced by Amebix. And it was a nice surprise listening to these four tracks full of wrath and power putting the Amebix worhsip on vinyl surface. Good production and awesome artwork
