Chromecast Without Wifi? (1 Viewer)

Can I use data on my phone to transmit videos to my HDTV without wi-fi on Chromecast?

Has anyone tried to do this, I have an Lg g2 smartphone and am using three (all you can eat data plan).

My computer is busted and I just ended my contract with UPC.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Turn your phone into a wifi hotspot and use that wifi network to connect the two. It'll kill the battery pretty swift but it'll do the the job.

Thanks Gambra, makes sense. I suppse if I keep my phone charged that will help offset the power issue. What got me curious about the whole thing was the fact that Mobdro premium is Chromecast frendly. Great little app for movies and sport and the best I know that works on android unless there are others??
