The media are going to look really stupid for running with this.
The BBC took an awful bashing on this despite no real evidence.
Human interest story with no merit.

The Sun were behind this story.
If they have evidence publish it.

A lot of the people pursued in Operation Yew Tree were cleared and that should have been a warning to avoid jumping to conclusions.

Considering the level of unfounded naming going on online, whoever it is, if it even happened probably already gonna have unbiased jury defence on thier side now.

It's not illegal for consenting adults to share nudey pics with each other
Most of us have sent or received them

The stories are saying "young person" because they can't say underage person. But all it means is someone is young. Underage is illegal. Young is subjective.
There is an absolute blizzard of consensual pics flying through the ether every single day and if you want to object on moral grounds, then go ahead.
If the BBC have a morals clause and can fire this guy, they probably will.
But has anything been made clear about illegality, especially given the case for the prosecution is being made by The Sun and online huff-and-puff merchants.

And before the argument is made that there's a massive difference in power dynamics (or whatever jargon people say now) anyone that's been in a sexual relationship with someone decades younger, will tell you that the power dynamic can flow the other way just as readily. If you're young and hot, you hold all the power cards over the person with the sagging body.


This is very likely (we don't have all the details) a moral panic. And we've always had those. We just think we're above them now.
So we call them something else. But that is what's going on it seems.
