CD Masters (1 Viewer)

Any suggestions for ones I can walk in and buy in Peats tomorrow? :)

they're in Peats, piss cheap and probably rubbish... so don't buy them...

but christ Mr Data is the best brand name for CD-Rs ever... total genius...
 
I'd just use any old shite for my own music but since it's for someone else :)
I know cd pressing plants request redbook (cd-da) standard master CDs - so that's 74min 16bit 44.1Khz and preferrably written at 2x or 4x to avoid error correction etc.

So redbook standard cds is nothing to do with the physical disk, just the spec for burning? interesting...

the redbook is the spec for audio cd as set forth by philips/sony afaik.
Like I said 74mins 16Bit 44.1K and loads of other stuff about how the indexing works etc.
80Min CD's don't fit into the redbook standard because 80mins is outside the spec.
