It's going pretty well out at the castle, the diggers have tried to get in a few times but so far they havent got close enough to wreck anything except a medieval gutter. We set up a shitty fence and sat in their path, lit a fire and started making tea, so they couldnt get past, just had some tea and said, well, I get paid anyway. Other entrances are blocked with cars or vans
The archeologists are out there all the time excavating, trying to get it all done before it gets wrecked. They cant get involved coz they'll lose their jobs but they support the carrickminders. There's loads of dodgy stuff going on with the land being caught up in the flood tribunal but I dunno if we'll be able to stop them from wrecking the castle before that all comes out in the open.
There's a lot of publicity at the moment and a lot of people coming to see what the site looks like. There's beds and all, it's real posh, being next to foxrock n all, we've even got a super dishwashing system made from wheelbarrows and a broken radiator and a real kitchen and two geodomes. They need lots of stuff still tho, pallets, fence-building materials, rope, wire, material, paint, etc. and can arrange to pick stuff up if needed. But it would be cool if some of you good people would come out and take a look, it's not too far, cycling distance from town (a long cycle, say and 1 1/4 hours) or the 63 bus will get u there in no time, the glenamuck road stop. Stay the night, there's loads of room food, and sleeping bags. see yis there!!
