Boss Bass Synth pedal (1 Viewer)

Was gumming for one a while back. Went to to music maker and messed with one for ten or fifteen minutes and couldn't really get a decent sound out of it. Has anyone had a go at one? Are they any use or am I just a retard at pedals?

never used the boss one but ive tried the electro harmonix one and you can get some deadly sounds on it. not sure how much youd use it though.
how much do you want your bass to sound like a synth???

That Boss pedal is shit, the note tracking is dire and it's very easy to lose control over. The Electro Harmonix on the other hand is great.

i have the electro harmonix one
got it second hand cheap but it crapped out on me and haven't gotten around to getting it looked at (read: forgot about)

but yeah, it's killer...i dunno how anyone would use this kind of thing with a guitar/bass unless you want to sound exactly like lightning bolt or something

Yeah my friend swears by the Electro-harmonix.
Generally too, not just for the synth.I'd have to back him up on it too, theyre a solid company.

the boss one is okay for keyboards but kind of comical for guitars.. not too bad for basses..

but yeah electroharmonix mucho better
