I know it sounds stupid to some of u snobz but Cecelia Aherns books are really good. She has a good style and the story is really sad.... i think teenagers these days might enjoy it as they are so shallow and only care about computers!!!!!

I was 19 when I discovered it and it blew me away, really spoke to me...

I was shocked to see my kid sister doing it for school...

Glad that never happened to me...

it was a revelation to read something really funny and intelligent that made it cool to be irish...

it might not sound like much or be applicable for your girlfriend, but y'know i made a big impression on myself...
