Just occured to me when he all of a sudden came to Nucky with the proposal for a nightclub on the boardwalk and was rebuffed. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to have included it otherwise.

Badly paced, not much action, convoluted storylines. It is pretty fucking awful. If it wasn't set in the 1920s gangsterland I would have checked out long ago.

I'm really not. It isn't as good as it should be and I'm not the only one who thinks that. The pacing in particular needs to be tweaked.

Fair enough. I disagree completely. I think it's a tour de force in terms of plotting, characters, acting, costume and production design but as 7 said it's not for everyone.

Another great episode. Prediction:

I don't see how Chalkey is going to get Nucky out of his current predicament. I think there'll be conflict between the two but maybe not til next season at this stage.

Harrow has to come into it more. I think some blow up involving Gillian and/or (most likely and) his new squeeze will push him in the direction of Nucky and his wealth. He'll be sent to sort out Gyp in Taber Heights.

Contact will still need to be made with Capone in Chicago however to ease tensions with the rest of the Eyeties in NYC.

And with loose ends to tie up with Margaret, Harry/Means and of course Nelson there's a lot to fit into two episodes.
