I am not sure if its possible to discuss Boards.ie but here goes.
I am interested to know what really goes on there.The Mods gives bans left right and centre.
Some users appear to say what they like and not get a ban. I suspect there are well organised ban bating groups .Their objective just to stir up trouble.

Boards.ie regularly have meet-ups, social events. I imagine that if you got to know moderators that way then you'd probably get away with more.

They do have a relatively sizeable number of bearded, LOTR-loving anti-social, dismissive-of-small-talk NERDS on their books.
