I forgot to mention Tracer AMC's "Flux and Form"...I really dig this record.

Some Electric and Blue Thread are two songs that I could merrily slap on repeat all day long.

didnt think anyone was into joanna newsom. shes fuckin excellent, and apparantly she's playin the sugar club on the 30th sept.

i concur. looking forward to the gig. gotta be in dublin around then anyway conveniently enough.

madvillain - madvillainy (haven't heard vik vaughn 2 yet)

only got venomous concept - retroactive abortion in the last two weeks or so but that's fairly cool also. really like the waiting room album too.
i'm sure i'm forgetting loads more though. loads more i haven't picked up yet as well ... new mastodon, old man gloom, wolf eyes, black dice (the miles of smiles ep was cool though ... was that this year?), bjork, tom waits and loads more. got the new(ish) comets on fire one on order too along with birchville cat motel and ivytree ones so looking forward to hearing them as well.
