the grain wasnt in the beetroot salad... it was the other one but i mixed them all up

i had beetroot soup once, didnt like it. apparently lithuanians are mad for cold beetroot soup with a boiled egg floating in it - gross.

i think it looks tasty

hmm my sis used to make a beetroot mash thing - it was mashed potatoes with loads of garlic and, i guess mashed up, beetroot. was very yummy. and a lovely pinky/purpley colour.

beetroots great- its become my snack between meals when i cant stop going into the kitchen...

Roast beetroot is fab too, wrap it in tinfoil with some garlic cloves and olive oil and bung it in the oven for a bit. Nyom.
