it was great being able to stand so close to the stage for pretty much everything albeit with very sore ears. sleep, jesus lizard, killing joke, qui, harvey milk, apc, all fantastic.

i think i'm in around there too but can't make myself out for sure. that was more or less where i was standing/leaping about like an idiot anyway. amazing amazing set

how were sleep?

mindblowing. al cisneros hugging chris hakius and matt pike at the end of the sunday night set almost brought a tear to my eye

overall, only really went for a handful of bands but they more or less all totally exceeded (high) expectations

beyond amazing: sleep, jesus lizard, electric wizard, andrew wk

pretty amazing: devo, harvey milk, grouper, hush arbors, qui

... that was more or less all i saw really. the 15 minutes or so of antipop consortium i caught was pretty great also but wasn't taking any chances on not getting in to electric wizard so left and waited through a pretty lame jesu set instead

oh yeah, robocop in the cinema after sleep on saturday night was awesome too
