any suggestions where one could purchase a van for a band (seat 6 max plus gear) for under 2 grand? I doubt if that price would get anything under 8 years old, but if you know of anyone selling such a device, please send us a mail at [email protected]

transit 100L or 2.2 / 2.4 hiace (old generation model) - most common for parts.. bad idea to spend less than 2grand on a van...go the extra 500 and you'll have less bother down the road - the new hiace (more sloped front) gets 100 miles or so less to the tank...so avoid..

is it cost effective or too expensive to put in a back seat if the van wasnt fitted out with one already?

dave vanian had one of those. hard to fit the rest of the band in the back ... though i could kill them all first ....
